Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that I Sarah R. Barnes of Gainesville in said County
and State in consideration of one dollar and
other valuable considerations to me paid by
Elizabeth G. Goldsmith of Winchester of the Common-
wealth of Massachusetts do hereby bargain sell
convey remise release and forever quit claim to the
said Elizabeth G. Goldsmith the following described
parcels of land situate lying and being in said
Alachua County and State of Florida: - The South
West Quarter of the South West Quarter of Section
Thirteen: The East half of the South East Quarter of
section fourteen: The North East Quarter of the North
East quarter of section Twenty Three: and The West half
of the North West Quarter of section Twenty four:
all of Township nine South, Range Seventeen East
containing Two hundred and forty acres more or less
according to the Government Surveys of the State of Florida
and known as the "Smallwood Place" together with the
easements and appurtenances thereunto in all ways
and in anywise belonging or appurtaining.
Also the North half of the South West quarter and the
West half of the South West Quarter of the South West
Quarter of section eight in Township nine South,
Range eighteen East. Containing one hundred acres
more or less according to the Government Surveys of the 
State of Florida and being a part of what is known
as "Hickory Lot" together with the easements and
appurtenances thereunto in all ways and in anywise
belonging. To have and to hold to the said Elizabeth G.
Goldsmith her heirs and assigns in fee simple
forever. And I the said Sarah R. Barnes do hereby for myself
and my heirs executors and administrators covenant with the
said grantee and her heirs and assigns that I am
lawfully seized in fee simple of the granted premises
that they are free from all incumbrances made or suffered
by me that I had good right to sell and convey the same
as aforesaid and that I will and my heirs executors
and administrators shall warrant and defend the same
to the said grantee and her heirs and assigns forever
against the  lawful claims and demands of all
persons claiming by through or under me but against
none other.
