Land together with all and Singular the rights
and privileges and appurtenances thereunto be-
longing or in any wise appertaining and the
said party of the second part and his heirs as their
absolute property in fee simple forever and
the said parties of the first part for themselves
and for all others claiming by through or under
them or either of them do covenant and agree
that they are seized of a good and indefeasible
fee simple to the above premises that they have
good right to convey the same as they have conveyed
the same free and discharged from all encumbrances
and liens of any and every nature and description
and that the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns shall quietly and peaceably enjoy the above
described premises against all persons whatsoever
lawfully claiming the same In Testimony whereof
the said parties of the first part have hereunto
set their hands and affixed their seal the day
and year first above written

Justice of the Peace in and for said County came
Thos B. Tillis and his wife Hettie Tillis severally
acknowledged that they signed the foregoing for
the purpose therein contained and the said Hettie
Tillis being examined Separate and apart from her
husband declares that she signed the same freely
& voluntarily and without compulsion of her said
husband

set my hand and seal this the 27th day of February
