whereas a decree was rendered in Chancery on July
the 17th 1879 by his honor James B. Dawkins Judge
& Chancellor of the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida
& Alachua County in a cause wherein Thos B.
Tillis is complainant & Samuel C. Tucker shff & Ex
officio administrator of A. Jones deceased & S.
I.S. Jones et al are defendants decreeing amongst
other things that Samuel C. Tucker as Sheriff of
Alachua County Florida & ex officio Adm of
A. Jones deceased do make to C. Gay a fee
simple deed to the following described real
estate Lot number one in Block number Eight-
een. Also of lots nine & ten of Block Eighteen
lying & being in the town of Waldo Situated in
the County of Alachua Florida together with all
& Singular the hereditaments & appurtenances there-
unto belonging
Now this Indenture witnesseth that
the said Samuel C. Tucker sheriff & Ex officio
administrator of A. Jones deceased as afore-
said in pursuant to the aforesaid order & decree
of the Circuit Court hath & by these presents doth
grant sell convey & confirm unto the said C. Gay
her heirs and assigns all the said tract of land in
the order or decree of the Court mentioned being
lot No one in Block No Eighteen also of lots
nine and ten of Block Eighteen lying and being
in the town of Waldo Alachua County Florida (the
said C. Gay having paid A. Jones three hundred and
fifty dollars for said land on the 29th Jan 1873)
together with the hereditaments & appurtenances To
have & to hold unto the said C. Gay his heirs & assigns
as fully and entirely as if the same had been con-
veyed to the said C. Gay by the said A. Jones in his
lifetime In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand & affixed my seal the day & year above
