Commissioner duly appointed and authorized by the
executive authority and under the laws of the State
of Florida to take within the State of South Caro-
lina proof and acknowledgment of deeds and other
instruments of writing to be used and recorded
in the said State of Florida personally appeared
Charles Stevens who being sworn made oath that
he present and saw Susan R. Jervey James L.
Jervey W. St J. Jervey M. Caroline Jervey Rene R. Jer-

and Charles S. Jervey sign seal and as their act
and deed deliver the within deed and that he 
with Thomas P. Ranwell witnessed the due execu-

               "Deed"
This Indenture made the 30th day of July in the year of
Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy nine
Between James R. Adkins of Alachua County State
of Florida (Bachelor) of the first part and Henry W.
Reed of Jacksonville Duval County Florida of
the second part, Witnesseth, that the said party of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of
three hundred Dollars lawful money of the
United States of America to him in hand paid by
the said party of the Second part at or before the
ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged has remised released
and quit claimed and by these presents does remise
release and quit claim unto the said party of the
second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all
of a certain piece or parcel of or lot of land Situate
lying and being in Alachua County State of Florida
and known and described upon the plats of the
United States Surveys (in the United States Land Office
