"Deed"
This Indenture made the 2d day of July anno Domini
Eighteen hundred and Seventy nine Between Simon
Lamps and Martha Lamps his wife of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida parties of the first part
and Henry W. Reed of Jacksonville County of Duval
and State of Florida party of the second part; Witness-
eth: That the said parties of the first part for and in con-
sideration of eight 00/100 Dollars to them in hand paid
by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have given granted aliened
bargained sold transferred and do by these presents
give grant alien bargain sell transfer and convey unto
the said party of the second part and his heirs and
assigns forever all of a certain lot tract or parcel of
land situate lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and known and described
on the public records of said County and upon the
plats of the United States Surveys as a part of the
South East Quarter of the south West Quarter of
section Twenty six (26) T 10 S of R 22 East Commen-
cing at a stake in the west line of said Quarter
Six hundred and twenty eight feet North of the South
West corner thence running East two hundred and
nine and one half (209 1/2) feet thence North one hun-
dred and five (105) feet thence West two hundred and
nine and one half ft (209 1/2) thence South to point of
beginning containing one half acre variations
used E 3° 30' July 2 1879. Together with all and Sin-
gular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenan-
ces thereunto belonging; and also all the estate right title
interest dower and right of dower property claim and
demand whatsoever as well in Law as in equity of
the said parties of the first part of in and to the same
with the appurtenances.
To have and to hold the above described premises
with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the
said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns
as their absolute property in fee simple forever and
the said Simon Lamps and wife for themselves & their
heirs and assigns do covenant and agree that they
are lawfully seized of the above described premises
by deed from Unites States Land office bearing
date and that they have conveyed the same free
and discharged from all encumbrances and liens
of any and every nature and description created by
themselves and the said party of the second part
