"Deed"
State of Alabama }
Pickens County } Know all men by these presents
that we T.A. Buffington and Alice Buffington his wife
of the aforesaid State and County for and in consideration
of One hundred dollars to us in hand paid by Thomas
A. Darby of Alachua County State of Florida the receipt
whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained
sold conveyed and forever quit-Claimed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell Convey and forever -
quit-claim unto him the said Thomas A. Darby
all of that Certain lot piece parcel or tract of land
Situated lying and being in Alachua County in
the State of Florida particularly described as follows
to wit: and known and described as Lot No Three (3)
South of the AG & WIT Rail Road Containing four
acres more or less being in Section Twenty Eight
(28) in Township Ten (10) South of Range Nineteen East
according to a map of the Survey of said Section
28 made by Thomas B. Smither Civil Engineer = Together
with all and Singular the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances to the Same belonging or in anywise
appertaining - To have and to hold unto him the said
Thomas A. Darby and to his heirs executors administra-
tors and assigns in fee Simple absolute forever.
In Witness Whereof we have hereunto Set our hands
and affixed our Seals on this 10 day of May AD 1881 -

before me in person Came Mrs Alice Buffington wife
of T.A. Buffington who being first duly questioned
by me separate and apart from her said husband
says and acknowledges before me that She did sign
seal execute and deliver the foregoing deed of Conveyance
for the purpose of Conveying releasing relinquishing and
renouncing all of her right title interest and claim to dower
or otherwise of in and to the lot of land in said deed des-
cribed and that she did the same freely and voluntarily
and without any constraint apprehension or fear of or
