Commencing East of Sweet Water Branch at the North
East corner of the town of Gainesville according to
the original survey of said town and running North
thirty feet to a stake thence East three hundred feet
to a stake thence North six hundred and forty feet to a stake
thence West four hundred and Twenty feet to the center of said
Sweet Water Branch, thence in a southerly direction down
the meanders of said Branch to a point directly west
of said North East corner of the Town of Gainesville
thence East sixty six feet to said North East corner
the starting point containing by Estimation six acres of
land more or less - Containing by Estimation six acres
of land more or less. Togather with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belong-
ing or in anywise appertaining To Have and To Hold the
same unto her the said Mary C. Post and to her heirs Executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute forever
and he the said Solomon F. Halliday do hereby covenant
and agree to and with the said Mary C. Post that he is lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed
and that has good and lawful right to sell and convey
the same that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever and that he will and his heirs Executors
and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend
the same unto her the said Mary C. Post and to her heirs
Executors administrators and assigns against the lawful claim
and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming
or hereafter to claim the same - In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal on this
13th day of April AD 1881
