Alachua County   } on this day personally appeared before me J.M.
                 } Hawthorn to me well known and acknowledged
that he Executed the foregoing deed for the purposes therein Ex
pressed whereupon it is prayed that the same may be recorded

  William and Mint Hawkins to W.W. McCall
                    "Deed"
State of Florida } 
Alachua County   } This Indenture made the 24th day of June
                 } AD 1881 between Hawkins and his wife Mint
Hawkins of the said State and County parties of the first
part and W.W. McCall of the same place of the second part
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300)
to them in hand paid by the party of the second part
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by
these present grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto
the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns
the following property to wit all that certain Lot tract or
parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Alachua
State of Florida and known and distinguished as follows
Beginning at a stake on North side of Gallows Pond
Near Newnansville running thence with variation of four
degrees and Twelve minutes North 50 degrees East six chains
to a stake where a pine marked (1) bears North fifty Degrees
one half of a degree west forty five Links and a pine marked (11)
North forty five degrees and two thirds of a degree West sixty four
Links an Oak marked (=) North seventy Eight and a quarter
West sixty four links an Oak marked (=) south sixty Degrees
West forty six and a half links thence North Eight Degrees
West Eighty chains and fifty Links to a stake where is an Oak
marked one hack (1) North fifty six Degrees West Eighteen and
a quarter Links a pine Marked (11) North Eighty seven and a
quarter West thirteen Links a pine marked (111) South Eighty
Degrees West forty six Links a black Jack marked (1111) south
thirty six and two thirds of a degree East thirty nine and a half
Links and a black Jack marked (11111) North seventy three
and a quarter degrees East thirty Eight Links thence south
fifty degrees west Eleven chains and nine links to a stake
where is a pine marked (1) North sixty two and a half degrees
