=mation Twenty acres of land more or less. Togather
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurte
nances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
To Have and To Hold the same unto him the said Francis
Lake party of the second part and to his heirs executors ad=
ministrators and assigns in fee simple absolute forever and we
the said Annie L. Barton and D.W.L. Barton her husband parties
of the first part Do hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said
Francis Lake party of the second part that we are
Lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed
and that we have good and Lawful right to sell and convey
the same that the same is free from all Encumbrances of any
kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs Executors
and administrators shall and will forever warrant and Defend
the same unto him the said Francis Lake party of the second part
and to his heirs Executors administrators and assigns against the
Lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomso
ever Now claiming or hereafter to claim the same In Witness
Whereof we have hereto set our hands and affixed our seals on
this 16th day of June AD 1881

                 }of June AD 1881 Before me personally
appeared Mrs Annie L. Barton wife of D.W.L. Barton
the grantor in the conveyance who being first duly questioned
and Examined by me separate and apart from her husband
says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said
deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing all of
her right of Dower in and to the land in said Deed described and that
said relinquishment and renunciation of dower was made by her
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint apprehension or
fear of or from her said husband   }
