State of Florida  } This Indenture made this second day of June in the year
County of Alachua } of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and Eighty one
Between Mary A. Smith widow of W.F. Smith deceased of Alachua County
Florida partie of the first part and Samuel B. Slaughter partie of the second
part all of said State and County Witness That the partie of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty eighty Dollars and
fifty two cents to her in hand paid at and before the sealing of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do bargain sell convey and confirm unto the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain
piece or parcel of land lying and situated in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida and known and described as follows. The North half (1/2) of the
North West Quarter (1/4) of section Ten (10) and the North East Quarter (1/4) of the
North East Quarter (1/4) of section nine (9) In Township Ten (10) South of
Range fifteen (15) East containing one hundred and twenty one acres more or
less to have and to hold the same above granted and described premises of the
said partie of the second part his heirs and assigns forever.
