Alachua County   }  On this day came before me
Mary J.A. Tillman wife of M.M. Tillman who after
an examination by me first held Separate and
apart from her husband acknowledged that she
did join in said Deed with her husband freely
voluntarily and without any Compulsion Con-
straint apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband with the purpose & intention of relinquish-
ing and renouncing all her Dower or right of Dower
in & to the property therein Conveyed Witness her
hand & seal the 18th day of May AD 1881

Alachua County   } This Indenture made the 18th
day of May AD 1881 between Samuel D. Tillman 
and his wife Edella Tillman of the aforesaid County
& State parties of the first part and Geo W. Witte 
and Armin F. Witte Composing the firm of Witte 
Bros of Charleston South Carolina parties of the
Second part: Witnesseth that the parties of the first 
part for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two
hundred and fifty Dollars to them Cash in hand
paid at & before the sealing & delivery hereof the 
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained Sold and Conveyed and do by
