               Petition of L.W. Jackson  Trustee
 
                             In Circuit Court 5th Judicial Circuit
                                   Alachua County Fla
To the Judge of the 5th Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida in and for the
County of Alachua in Chancery sitting: - Your Petitioner respectfully
showeth unto your honor that he was duly appointed Guardian adlitem of
Mary Eliza McLean a minor of John A. McLean of Cumberland County
& State of North Carolina & who is one of the heirs of the estate of Mathew B.
Hawkins decd late of said County in the division of the Real Estate of
the said Mathew B. Hawkins decd as aforesaid, your petitioner would
further Shew unto your Honor that said estate, and the portion of said minor
has been deeded to him in trust for the said Mary Eliza McLean minor as
aforesaid. Your Petitioner would further Shew unto Your Honor that the
portion of the said minor in & to the said Real Estate is known and
distinguished as NE1/4 of Sec 21 Township 9 S Range 19 East Your petitioner
would further shew unto your Honor that subsequent to his appointment as
Guardian adlitem and the reception of the deed in trust as aforesaid that
a Guardian has been duly appointed of the person & estate of said minor in
the County of Cumberland & State of North Carolina by A. McPherson Jr
Probate Judge of said County to A.A. McKethan Jr of said State & County a
certified copy of which Letters of Guardianship under the hand & Seal of said
Probate Court has been duly filed in the office of the County Judge of the County
of Alachua as required by law. Your Petitioner would further shew unto Your Honor
that said Guardian duly appointed as aforesaid is desirous to come in the
possession of the property of said minor & makes request that the same be sold
& the proceeds of sale turned over to him as such Guardian Your Petitioner
would further shew unto your Honor that no power is granted in said deed
of trust to dispose of said lands but to hold the same for the sole use &
benefit of the said minor Your Petitioner respectfully showeth unto Your
Honor that he has a bid for said lands at the sum of Five Hundred Dollars
cash that he considers said price adequate therefore pray your honor to
grant an order to him to sell said lands as said trustee & to make titles to said
purchaser & Your petitioner will ever pray &c

Upon reading & considering the foregoing petition it is ordered that C.W. Little
E.K. Fagan & W. Lassiter be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to
view said premises is described in said petition & report as to whether or
not it would be to the interest of said minor if said were sold as set forth
in said Petition & for said amount
