To the Jude of the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida we the Commissioners
appointed by you to report as to whether or not it would be to the interest
of Mary E. McLain a minor of John A. McLain for L.W. Jackson her
trustee to sell her interest in the estate of M.B. Hawkins we do recommend
a sale of the said property and think Five Hundred Dollars is its full

   "Order to Sell"
                                  At Chambers
                                            June 20th 1881
Upon reading and considering the petition of Lawrence W. Jackson Trustee
for Mary Eliza McLean a minor of the State of North Carolina Cumberland
County praying for leave to sell as said Trustee the NE quarter of Section
21 Township 9, South Range 19 east and also the Commissioners appointed by
this Court to say whether it would be to the interest of said minor of said
real estate were sold, having recommended the sale of said property for the
sum of Five Hundred Dollars; that said sum is the full value of said lands
It is therefore ordered by the Court that Lawrence W. Jackson as Trustee of said
minor be and he is hereby authorized to sell said property for the sum
of Five Hundred dollars & no less & to make good and sufficient titles to the
same & further that he the said L.W. Jackson Trustee as aforesaid be and is
hereby required to give a good and Sufficient bond in the sum of Five
hundred Dollars payable to Governor of the State of Florida and his successors
in office conditioned to pay over to the legally appointed Guardian
his duly authorized agent or attorney all funds in his hands as such
Trustee after deducting all legal costs and charges said bond to be approved
by J.A. Carlisle Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for the County of
Alachua & that these proceedings be duly recorded in the office of said
Court
