Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that J.E. Chadwick and A.W. Chadwick husband &
wife of the aforesaid County and State for and in Consid-
eration of the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars
to them in hand paid by Daniel S. Place of the County
of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof
we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
sold and Conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and Convey unto him the said Daniel
S. Place all of that Certain lot piece tract or parcel of
land Situated lying and being in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida particularly known and described
as follows to wit: The South West Quarter of the South
East Quarter of Section Twenty Three Township Eight
South of Range Twenty one East (The SE1/4 of SW1/4 of
Sec 23 Township 8, South of Range 21 E) Containing
by estimation Forty acres of land more or less -
Together with all and Singular the tenements heredity-
aments and appurtenances to the Same belonging
or in anywise appertaining. To have and to hold the
Same unto him the Said Daniel S. Place and to his
heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee
Simple absolute forever. And we the Said J.E.
Chadwick and A.W. Chadwick do hereby Covenant
and agree to and with the said Daniel S. Place
that we are lawfully Seized in fee of the property
herein and hereby Conveyed; and that we have good
