John W. Turner as Sheriff of & for Alachua County
Florida did on the 1st day of August AD 1881 duly sell
the said property hereinafter described under and by
virtue of the aforesaid agreement Consent and Waiver at
public outcry before the Court House door in the Town
of Gainesville in Alachua County Florida and whereas
at said sale the said L. Lilienthal & J. Kohn partners
trading in the City of Savannah State of Georgia under
the firm name of Lilienthal & Kohn became the purcha-
ser of the said property hereinafter described at and
for the Sum of Three Hundred & Seventy Five Dollars
($375.) that being the highest best and last Sum bid for
the Same at said sale and the said Lilienthal & Kohn
being the bidders thereof. Now therefore know all men
by these presents that I the said John W. Turner as
such Sheriff as aforesaid under and by virtue
of said agreement Consent and waiver in writing
and under and by virtue of the sale thereunder made
and for and in Consideration of the said Sum of
Three hundred and Seventy Five Dollars ($375) to me as
Such Sheriff as aforesaid Cash in hand on this day
paid by the said Lilienthal & Kohn the receipt Whereof
I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
sold transferred aliened and Conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell transfer alien and
Convey unto them the said L. Lilienthal & J. Kohn Composing
the firm of Lilienthal & Kohn of the City of Savannah
State of Georgia the following described property to
wit: All that tract or parcel of land Situate lying and
being in the Town of Newnansville in Alachua County
State of Florida Containing (2 3/4) Two & three quarter
acres of land with two Story Building thereon bounded
on the East by Wire Road and on the North and West
and South by lands of Mrs Exley. Together with all
and Singular the tenements hereditaments and appurten-
ances to the Same belonging or in any wise appertain-
ing To have and to hold the said described property unto
them the said Lilienthal & Kohn and to their heirs ex-
ecutors administrators and assigns forever as fully as I
the said Sheriff am lawfully authorized am empowered
to Do by virtue hereof. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my official seal on this 4th
