  Annie L. and D.W.L. Barton to Nathaniel Howland
                          "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents, that we Annie L. Barton and
Alachua County   } D.W.L. Barton her husband parties of the first part of the aforesaid
County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and
seventy Dollars to us in hand paid by Nathaniel Howland party of the second
part of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof we
do hereby acknowledge, have granted bargained, sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant, bargain sell and convey unto him the said Nathaniel Howland
party of the second part all of that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land
situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
particularly known and described as follows to wit: Commencing at a point in the
west line of section Twenty Seven (27) in Township Ten (10) South of Range
Nineteen (19) East, Thirty (30) chains and Fifty (50) links, South of the North West
Corner of said Section Twenty Seven (27) and running thence South along said
section line Seven (7) chains and Fifty (50) Links, thence East at right angles
to the aforesaid Section line Fourteen (14) chains and Twenty five (25) Links to __
the North East corner of P.F. Wilson's land thence Southerly along the Easterly line
of said Wilson's land Two (2) Chains thence East at right angles to the
aforesaid Section lone Twenty nine (29) chains, thence North parallel to the
aforesaid section line Sixteen (16) chains thence West Thirty Six (36) chains
and Twenty five (25) Links, thence South Six (6) chains and Fifty (50) Links
thence West Seven (7) chains to the place of beginning the same being a part of the
Arredondo Grant Containing by estimation ____ acres of land more or less. Together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the
same belonging or in anywise appertaining saving an excepting all that part
heretofore conveyed to the aforesaid N. Howland by Deed made January 21st 1878
by John L. Barton Annie L. Barton and D.W.L. Barton: To Have and to Hold
the same unto him the said Nathaniel Howland party of the Second
part and to his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in fee Simple
absolute forever and we the said Annie L. Barton and D.W.L. Barton her
husband parties of the first part do hereby covenant and agree to and with
the said Nathaniel Howland party of the second part that we are lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed; and that we have
good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from
all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that we will forever warrant and
defend the same unto him the said Nathaniel Howland party of the
second part and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns against
the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now
