"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents, that we George H. Schofield
Alachua County } and Susan R. Schofield his wife of the aforesaid County and
State, for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty ($30.00) Dollars to them
in hand paid by John E. Futch and Henry J. Futch of the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, have granted
bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and
convey unto them the said John E. Futch and Henry J. Futch all of that
certain lot piece, tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County
of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known and described as follows
to wit: Commencing at the SW corner of NE1/4 of NW1/4 of section (34) Township (7)
Range (19) East and running (140) yards East and then running (140) yards
North and then running West (140) yards and then running South (140) yards
to point of beginning, containing by estimation four (4) acres of land more or less
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have and To Hold the
same unto them the said John E. Futch and Henry J. Futch and to
their heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute forever
and we the said George H. Scofield & Susan R. Scofield do hereby covenant and agree to and
with the said John E. Futch and Henry J. Futch that we lawfully seized in
fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed; and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs executors and administrators
shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto them the said John E.
Futch and Henry J. Futch and to their heirs executors administrators and assigns
against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever
now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto
set our hand and affixed our Seals on this 19th day of July AD 1881
