Alachua County } said State & County Susan D. Barr wife of John J. Barr to me well
known who after being examined separate and apart from her husband - did acknow=
ledge that she did sign the foregoing deed made by her & her said husband to
George A. Mariner freely and voluntarily without and fear of or from her said
husband and for the purposes set forth in said deed

"Deed"
State of Virginia } Know all men by these presents that we Horatio A.
Rockbridge County } Lackey and Mrs S. Maggie Lackey his wife William H.
Lackey and Mrs Rebecca E. Lackey his wife and Samuel W. Wilson and Mrs Sallie
J. Wilson his wife all of the aforesaid State and County for and in consideration
of the sum of One hundred dollars to us cash in hand paid by Henry C.
Strack of Florida, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained, sold and conveyed and forever quit-claimed and by these presents
do grant, bargain, sell convey and forever quit-claim unto him the said Henry
C. Strack all of our right, title interest and claim at law or in equity of in
and to all of that certain piece, parcel or tract of land situated lying
and being in the Alachua County in the State of Florida particularly
described as follows, to wit: The same being a fractional portion of the North
half of the North East quarter of section Thirty one (31) in Township Nine (9) South
of Range Twenty (20) East and being bounded as follows Commencing at the
North-East corner of section Thirty one (31) in Township nine (9) South of Range
Twenty (20) East and running thence due South one hundred and ninety three
(193) yards to a Stake thence due West Eight hundred and Eighty (880) yards
to a Stake thence due North one hundred and ninety three (193) yards to a
Stake, thence due East Eight hundred and Eighty (880) yards to the point of
beginning containing Thirty five (35) acres of land more or less To Have and To
Hold the same unto him the said Henry C. Strack and to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute forever. In Witness whereof
we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals on this 14th<\u> day
March AD 1881.
