Deed
This Indenture made and entered into this the 30th day of June AD 1881 between
James Doig and Wm H. Robertson and Margaret E. Robertson his wife (who Joins
in this deed for the purpose of renouncing and relinquishing her right of
dower to the premises hereinafter conveyed) parties of the first part and
Francis W. Doig party of the second part. Witnesseth that the parties of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars to them in hand
paid by the party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowled=
ged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey to the party of the second part and her assigns
all that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Gainesville in the
County of Alachua in the State of Florida commencing at the South West
corner of block one (1) in Range two (2) in what is known as Robertson &
Doig's addition to the said Town of Gainesville running thence North four
hundred and fifty (450) feet, thence West two hundred (200) feet thence South
four hundred and fifty (450) feet thence West two hundred (200) feet to the
place of beginning which said tract of land is further known and described
as that tract or parcel of land situated in the said Town of Gainesville
commencing at a point ninety (90) feet North from the North west corner of a
lot or tract of land described and conveyed in a deed executed by James Doig
and Francis Doig to Elizabeth A. King dated April the 28th AD 1876 and
recorded in record of deeds book "I" in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
of said County at pages 881 & 882 then running from said point of commencement
four hundred and fifty (450) feet North, thence West two hundred (200) feet thence
south four hundred and fifty (450) feet thence West two hundred (200) feet to
the point of commencement: To Have and to Hold to the party of the second
part or her assigns with all the rights and privileges thereto appertaining
But this deed is made upon the condition that if the party of the second
part should not convey the said described land during her lifetime then at
decease the same shall be the property of the childred of the said James
Doig by the said Francis W. Doig then living and if there should be no such
childred then living then the same shall belong to the said James Doig and
if he should not be then alive then to his heirs

Court of said County James Doig Margaret E. Robertson and Wm H. Robertson to
me personally known who acknowledged to me that they had executed the
foregoing deed to Francis W. Doig for the purposes therein Stated and I further
certify that the said Margaret E. Robertson having been by me first examined
privately and separately and apart from her said husband the said Wm H.
Robertson acknowledged to me that she had renounced and relinquished
all her right & title to dower in and to the land conveyed by the said deed
