give and convey to her the said Fannie M. all of the real and personal
property hereinafter set forth and described and whereas she the said Fannie
M. did accept my said proposition and did faithfully stand to and
abide by the same, and did thereby become my true and lawful wife on
the 8th day of June AD 1881: Now therefore know all men by these presents
that I the said William R. Mills for the purpose and with the Just intent
of faithfully carrying out the said covenants agreement and contract as above
set forth on my part and in consideration of the full and complete Carrying
out and execution in good faith of the said Contract by the said Fannie
M. as also in consideration of the natural love and affection which I
have and bear to and for my said wife Fannie M. Mills, formerly
Fannie M. Colson and for the further consideration of the sum of Ten
Dollars to me cash in hand paid by the said Fannie M. Mills the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, I have given granted bargained sold and
conveyed and do by these presents give grant bargain sell and convey
unto her the said Fannie M. Mills and to her heirs and assigns the following
described property to wit: all those Lots tracts or parcels of land situate
lying and being in the County of Alachua State of Florida and known
and distinguished as follows to wit: The West Half (W1/2) of Lot No (13) Thirteen
in Brown's addition to the Town of Gainesville in section (5) Five Township Ten
(10) Range (20) Twenty S & E Containing Five acres. The South Half of Section
Ten, Township Eleven Range Nineteen, S & E containing Three Hundred & Twenty acres
(320) Also all of Lot No (3) Three in section (28) Twenty Eight, Township Ten (10)
Range (19) Nineteen according to Survey of of John S. Banks plot recorded in
Clerks office of Alachua County Florida in Deed Book "I" pg 57 containing
Twenty acres more or less and that part of Lot #(1) one in the Moses E.
Levy Grant described as follows to wit: Beginning at a Stake on the South
Edge of Payne's Prarie on the line dividing lots Nos (1) one and (2) two of
the said Moses E. Levy grant and running N 82° W along the Edge of
said Payne's Prarie 31.00 Chains to a Stake: thence S 5° W 12.90 1/3 chains
to a Stake: thence S 82° E 31.00 chains to a Stake on line dividing
Lots 1 and 2 above mentioned thence North 5° East along said line
12.90 1/3 chains to point of beginning containing Forty (40) acres more or less Together
with all and singular the rights tenements and hereditaments thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining. Also the following personal property
to wit: (400) Four hundred Head of Cattle (3) Three Head of Horses Sugar
Mill and Boiler and all attachments thereto To Have and to hold
the said bargained & Sold property unto her the said Fannie M. Mills
and her heirs and assigns to her and their own proper use benefit and
behoof forever. And I the said William R. Mills for myself my heirs executors
and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend the title to
said property to the said Fannie M. Mills and to her heirs executors
administrators and assigns free from all incumbrances In testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 22nd day of
