          James K. Johnson To William D. Holder
                          "Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made the Fourth day of April one thousand Eight
Alachua County   } hundred and eighty one Between James K. Johnson of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida party of the first part and William D. Holder Party
of the second part Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part for and in
consideration of the Sum of Four hundred dollars to him in hand paid before the
delivery hereof hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain sell
grant and convey to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns in fee
simple forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida which is known and described as follows the
North West quarter of North North East quarter of section Twenty four 24 in Township
ten South of Range Seventeen East Containing Thirty nine acres and ninety five
hundredths of an acre together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging with the estate right title and
interest of the said party of the first part therein and the said party of the
first part doth hereby covenant and agree with the said party of the second
part that at the time of the delivery hereof the said party of the first part is the
lawful owner of the premises above granted and seized thereof in fee simple and
absolute and that he will warrant and defend the same in peaceable possession
of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. In Witness
whereof I have hereunto affixed my hand and seal this the 4th day of April
AD 1881

Be it remembered that on the 4th day of April AD 1881 personally
appeared before me the subscribers James K. Johnson and Mary Ann
Johnson his wife Grantors in the above Indenture Deed or Conveyance
named and in due form of law severally acknowledged the foregoing
Indenture Deed or Conveyance to be their act and deed and desire that
the same as such might be recorded according to law, She the said
Mary Ann Johnson being examined by me separate and apart from her
husband and the full contents thereof being first made known to her by me
did acknowledge it to be her own free will act and deed and that she was not
forced or urged by any coercion or compulsion on the part of her husband
  Sworn To and Subscribed before me this the 4th Day of April AD 1881
