Cynthia J. Waits and husband To The Florida Southern Railway Company
                          "Deed"
This Indenture made the Twenty fourth day of August one thousand eight
hundred and eighty one Between Cynthia J. Waits of Alachua County Florida
and Calvin Waits her husband of the first part and The Florida Southern
Railway Company of the second part Witnesseth That the said parties of the
first part in consideration of the sum of one dollar to them duly paid
have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
convey to the said party of the second part and to their heirs and assigns
forever all those blocks and lots of land situated in the survey of the
Town of Waits Crossing in sections 26 and 35 Township 10 Range 22 E in the
County of Alachua Florida plat of which is recorded in the Clerks office for
said County all the even numbers of lots in blocks on said plat except the
lots marked Two (2) and four (4) in block five (5) and lots two (2) and
four (4) in block six (6) are hereby conveyed to the Florida Southern Railway
Company all other blocks and lots being reserved by the parties of the
first part with the appurtenances and all the estate right title and
interest of the said parties of the first part herein. And the said Cynthia
J. Waits and her husband Calvin Waits do hereby covenant and agree to
and with the said party of the second part their heirs and assigns that at
the time of making this conveyance they are lawful owners of the premises
above granted and seized of a good and indefeasible estate of inheritance
therein and that they are free and clear of inchoate dower rights and of
all incumbrances whatsoever and that no one else has any lawful
right or title to said premises or any part thereof and the above granted
premises in the quiet and peaceful possession of the said party of the
second part their heirs and assigns against every person whomsoever will
warrant and forever defend. In Witness Whereof the said parties of the first
part have hereunto set their hands and seal the day and year first above

and acknowledged that they executed the same for the purposes therein
