Eugene Gavillet and wife To Aquilla Rogers
                             "Deed"
This Indenture made this Sixteenth day of August in the year one thousand
Eight hundred and Eighty one between Eugene Gavillet of the City of St Louis
and State of Missouri and Leonida Gavillet his wife of the first part and
Aquilla Rogers of the County of Alachua and State of Florida of the second
part Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part in consideration of the 
sum of Five Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the
the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed and by these
presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien remise, release, convey and confirm unto
the said party of the second part and to their heirs and assigns forever the
following described lands to wit: The North half of the North East Quarter of the
South East quarter of Sec (22) Twenty Two Township Eight South of Range Twenty
one East N1/2 of NE1/4 of SE1/4 of Sect 22 T8 S of R21 E being Twenty acres more or
less together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions
and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and all the estate right, title
interest dower and right of dower, property possession claim and demand
whatsoever in law and in equity of the said parties of the first part of
in and to the above granted premises and every part thereof with the
appurtenances. To Have and To Hold the above mentioned and described premises
with the appurtenances to the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns forever and the said Eugene Gavillet & wife and his heirs
the above described and hereby granted and released premises and
every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances unto the said party
of the second part His heirs and assigns against the said parties of the
first part and their heirs and against all and every person and persons
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof
shall and will warrant and by these presents forever defend. In Witness Whereof
the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals
the day and year above written

City of Saint Louis } On this Twenty fifth day of August 1881 before
me the undersigned a Notary Public within and for the City & State
aforesaid personally appeared Eugen Gavillet and Leonida Gavillet his wife
to me known to be the persons described in and who executed
the foregoing instrument and severally acknowledged the execution
thereof to be their free act and deed for the uses and purposes
therein mentioned, and the said Leonida Gavillet the wife of the said
Eugene Gavillet on an examination taken and made separately and 
apart from her said husband did acknowledge that she made herself a
party to the said deed for the purpose of renouncing and relinquishing
her dower or right of dower in and to the lands tenements and hereditaments
