Elizabeth J. Smith and Husband To Z.M. Sanders
"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth J. Smith and
Alachua County } my husband Russell B. Smith of the County of Alachua and State
of Florida, for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy five dollars to us in
hand paid by Zadoc M. Sanders of the County and State above written the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold
and do by these presents grants grant bargain, sell and convey unto the said
Zadoc M. Sanders his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever the
following described lots or parcels of land situate lying and being in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida to wit: The North West quarter of the South
East quarter and the West half of the North East quarter all in Section
Sixteen Township Ten South of Range Twenty two East containing one hundred
and twenty acres more or less - To have and to hold the above granted
bargained and described premises together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
to the said Zadoc M. Sanders his heirs executors administrators and assigns
in fee simple absolute forever. And the said Elizabeth J. Smith and Russell
B. Smith for themselves and for their heirs executors administrators and
assigns do covenant and agree to and with the said Zadoc M. Sanders
that they will and their heirs executors administrators and assigns shall
forever warrant and defend the title to the above described premises against all
and every person whomsoever lawfully claiming the same. In Witness Whereof
they have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals on this tenth
day of August AD 1881

State of Florida } Before me personally came Elizabeth J. Smith to me well
Alachua County } known as the wife of Russell B. Smith who being examined
by me separate and apart from her said husband acknowledged before
me that she renounced and relinquished all her right and claim in and
to the lands described in the foregoing deed of conveyance and that she did
the same freely and voluntarily and without any constraint apprehension or fear
from her said husband. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals
this tenth day of August AD 1881
