"Deed"
This Indenture made the twenty seventh day of September one thousand eight hundred and Eighty
one Between Robt E. Johnson farmer and his wife Abrilla J. Johnson of Alachua County and
State of Florida of the first part, and Prs I.T. Cox President Southern Female College La Grange
Georgia of the second part Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, in consideration
of the sum of four hundred Dollars, to them duly paid have bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey to the said party of the second
part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, All that lot or parcel of land in Alachua
County and State of Florida to wit: the North East quarter of the North East quarter of
section thirteen (13) in Township ten (10) South of Range twenty two (22) East
Containing forty 60/100 acres more or less with the appurtenances and all the estate
right, title and interest of the said parties of the first part therein, And the
said Robt E. Johnson and Abrilla J. Johnson do hereby covenant and agree, to
and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns that at the
time of making this conveyance they were lawful owners of the premises above
granted and seized of a good and indefeasible estate of inheritance therein
and that they are free and clear of inchoate dower rights and of all incumbrances
whatsoever, and that no one else has any lawful right or title to said premises
or any part thereof and the above granted premises in the quiet and peaceful
possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against
every person whomsoever will Warrant and forever Defend In Witness Whereof the
said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the
day and year first above written
