State of Florida }
County } This Indenture made the 18 day of June AD 1881 between
John Freeman Young as Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church for
the Diocese of Florida party of the first part and Charles K. Dutton of
the County of New York State of NY party of the second part Witnesseth
That the said party of the first part under and by virtue of an order
of the Honorable James B. Dawkins Judge of the 5th Judicial Circuit of
Florida granted at Chambers on the 24th day of May AD 1881 for and in
consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars to him in hand paid as well as
the delivery by Charles K. Dutton of a warranty title in the lands on which
(Lot Eleven) the Episcopal Church at Waldo Fla is now situated to wit: Lot 11 in Block
(Block three) three South Waldo in said Town hath granted bargained sold Conveyed
(South Waldo) to the said Charles K. Dutton and to his heirs and assigns the following
described property to wit: -- all those lots or parcels of land situate lying
& being in the Town County of Alachua and State of Florida and known
and distinguished on the official plat of said Town (as resurveyed and
mapped out by P.W.O. Koerner in 18 ) as lots Numbers One Eight Nine
and Ten in and Comprising the whole of fractional Block Number
Nineteen which said Block fronts One Hundred & Seventy Five feet more
or less on Snowden Street which bounds it on the North West: from
whence it extends one hundred and fifty feet more or less on Cole
Street which bounds it on the North East. Together with all and
Singular the rights tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining To have and to hold the said
bargained property unto the said party of the second part of the second
part and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever
in fee Simple absolute. And the said party of the first part shall
for himself and his successors shall and will warrant and forever defend
the title to said property to the said party of the second in as full and
ample a manner as his fiduciary capacity will authorize and permit
by virtue and in pursuance of the order or Decree aforesaid.
