this instrument for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and expressed
and that he together with D.E. Sapp signed the same as subscribing Witnesses

Alachua County } came Virginia E. Jones personally known to me to be the person
who signed the above deed as the wife of J.J. Jones who upon being duly examined
by me separate and apart from her said husband acknowledged that she signed
the same for the purpose of relinquishing and renouncing her right of dower and
homestead in and to the within granted premises and that said relinquishment
and renunciation is made freely and voluntarily and without any constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband

This Indenture made and entered into this fifth day of October AD 1881 between
James D. Matheson and James T. McMillan Trustees for certain Judgment Creditors
of the Estate of J.W. Anderson Deceased of the first part and R.M. Witt
of the Second part Witnesseth that the Parties of the first part in consideration
of the sum of Six hundred and twenty Dollars and Sixty four cents paid
by the party of the second part to them the parties of the First part
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained sold
and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the party of the second part all those certain parcels or lots of
Land situated in Alachua County State of Florida known and described
as Lots Number Eight (8)Thirteen (13) and Fourteen (14) of what is "popul-
=arly" known as the Leitner Place as per plot or map of said Place made
by W.C. Miller and recorded August 29th 1877 on page 645 of Deed Book "J"
of the records of the Cicuit Court for Alachua County Florida Together
with all and singular the rights privileges advantages tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining To Have
and to Hold the above described lots with the appurtenances unto the said
party of the Second part his heirs executors administrators and assigns
forever - In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part
have hereunto set their Hands and affixed theirs Seals this fifth day
