of Twenty Dollars ($2000) to them paid by Jeremiah S. Hoffman of the
City of Detroit County of Wayne and State of Michigan the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant Bargain Sell and Convey to the
said Jeremiah S. Hoffman his heirs and assigns forever all that certain
piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida known and described on the Public Records of said
State as the North East quarter (NE1/4) of the North West quarter (NW1/4) of section
Twenty one (21) Township Eight (8) South Range Twenty one east Being forty
acres more or less and all the Estate Title and Interest of the said Joseph
Y. Sumrall and Annie Sumrall either in Law or Equity of, in and to the
said premises, Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the
same belonging and all rents, issue and profits thereof. To have and to
hold the same to the only proper use of the Said Jeremiah S. Hoffman his
heirs and assigns forever And the said Joseph Y. Sumrall for himself
and for his heirs, executors and administrators does hereby Covenant with
the said Jeremiah S. Hoffman his heirs and assigns that he is the
true and lawful owner of the said premises and has full power to
convey the same; that the title so conveyed is clear free and unincumbered
And further that he will Warrant and defend the same against all
claim or claims of all persons whomsoever. In Witness Whereof the said
Joseph Y. Sumrall and Annie Sumrall his wife who hereby release
all her right and expectancy of Dower in the said premises have hereunto
set their hands and seals this 19 day of July in the Year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred and Eighty one

Be it Remembered, that on the 19 day of July in the Year of our Lord
One thousand eight hundred and Eighty one before me the Subscriber
a Notary Public in and for said County personally came Joseph Y.
Sumrall and Annie Sumrall his wife the grantors in the foregoing
deed and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their
voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned
and the said Annie Sumrall wife of the said Joseph Y. Sumrall
being examined by me, Separate and apart from her said husband, and
the contents of said Deed being by me made known and explained
to her as the Statute directs declared that she did voluntarily sign
seal and acknowledge the same and that she is Still Satisfied therewith
as her act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
