known and described as follows to wit: Being in the Arredondo
Grant County of Alachua State of Florida to wit: a part of
Section Twenty eight (28) Township ten (10) Range Nineteen (19) east
and further and especially described in plat of Porter & Barton Recorded
in Deed Book I pages 56 & 57 January 3rd AD 1873 as lot Six (6)
containing twenty (20) acres more or less, Containing by estimation twenty
acres of land more or less. Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or
in anywise appertaining. To have and to Hold the same unto them
the said Thomas C. Curry and Nellie Colson parties of the second part
and to their heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple
absolute forever. And we the said Annie L. Barton and D.W.L. Barton her
husband parties of the first part do hereby covenant and agree to and
with the said Thomas C. Curry and Nellie Colson parties of the second
part that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and
hereby conveyed: and that we have good and lawful right to sell
and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances of
any kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs executors and admin=
istrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto them the
said Thomas C. Curry and Nellie Colson parties of the second part and to their
heirs executors administrators and assigns against the lawful claims and
demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to
claim the same. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
affix our seals on this 16 day of June AD 188

State of Florida } I hereby certify that on this 16th day of June AD 1881 before me
Alachua County } personally appeared Mrs Annie L. Barton wife of D.W.L. Barton the
grantor in the foregoing deed of Conveyance who being first duly questioned and
examined by me separate and apart from her said husband acknowledges before
me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing
relinquishing and renouncing all of her right of Dower in and to the land in said
deed described and that said relinquishment and renunciation of dower was done
and made by her freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion, Constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
