John and Hester Warren to William Davis
"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we John Warren & Hester
Alachua County } Warren his wife of the State and County aforesaid for and
in consideration of the sum of Thirty five Dollars to us in hand paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained sold & Conveyed
and by these presents doth so give grant bargain sell & Convey unto William Davis
of the State and County aforesaid the following lot or parcel of Land (to Wit) beginning
at a lightwood Post on the East line of Section Twenty Seven (27) Township (11)
Eleven and Range (20) Twenty Ten feet from the land now owned by Miss M. Cosby
Running West 210 feet to a lightwood Post thence North 210 feet to a lightwood
Post thence East 210 feet to East line of Section (27) thence South 210 feet
to point of beginning and containing one acre more or less To Have and to hold the
above described premises together with all and singular the houses buildings and
appurtenances thereto belonging, unto the said William Davis his heirs executors
and administrators and assigns forever and we the said John Warren and
Hester Warren bind ourselves our heirs and assigns to defend the titles to said
premises against all legal claims whatever. In Witness whereof we have hereunto
set our hands and affixed our seals on this 24 day of Sept AD 1881

Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that I Hester Warren Wife of
John Warren upon an examination made this day by J.W. Smith a Justice of
the Peace separate and apart from her said Husband do hereby relinquish all
my right title and interest to the foregoing described lot or parcel of land
and that She acknowledged that She signed the same of her own free will and
accord without any fear apprehension constraint or compulsion of or from
her said husband. Witness my hand and seal this ___

Alachua County } Before the Subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for
Said County personally came S.H. Benjamin who being duly sworn says
that he saw Grantors in the foregoing Deed Sign the same and acknowl
=edge the did so for the use and purpose therein set forth and that he
together with J.W. Smith Signed the same as witnesses Sworn to
and Subscribed before me this 8th day of October AD 1881
