Know all men by these presents That we Edwyn Sandys Dawes, George
Augustus Thomson and Anthony Norris of London England Trustees of the
Florida Land and Colonization Company Limited incorporated under the
Companies Acts 1862 to 1880 and whose registered Office is Situate at 13 Austin
Friars London EC have made constituted and appointed and by these presents
Do make constitute and appoint Henry Shelton Sanford of the County of Orange
and State of Florida our true and lawful Attorney for us and in our names
place and Stead to enter into Contracts for the sale or leasing of and to bargain
Sell grant convey lease and confirm all or any part or parts of the lands
tenements hereditaments and personal property held by us as trustees as aforesaid
lying and being within the Counties of Duval St Johns Alachua Marion and
Orange in the State of Florida United States of America or any part thereof
for such price or sum of money or in such terns as he may think best and
for us unless specially advised by us the said trustees to the contrary and in
our names to make execute acknowledge and deliver unto the purchaser or
purchasers an Lessee or Lessees thereof good and Sufficient Deeds of Conveyance
with covenant of warranty to bind us as Trustees as aforesaid only to the extent
however of the trust property held by us under warranty Deed dated the twenty
eight day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty executed to us by the Honorable Henry Shelton Sanford and Gertrude
E. Sanford his wife and Leases thereof, respectively and to demand receive and
collect or distrain for all sums of money and rents due or which Shall become
due and payable to us by reason of such agreements sale or Sales Lease or Leases
respectively giving and granting unto our said Attorney full power and authority
to do and perform all and every act and thing  whatsoever requisite or necessary
to be done in and about the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as we
might or could do if personally present with full power of Substitution and revocation
we hereby agreeing to ratify and confirm all that our said Attorney or his
Substitute shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue hereof. In Witness
