hand paid by the said party of the Second part at and before the signing sealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted
bargained sold released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents Does grant bargain
sell release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever all that certain Lot of land situate lying and being in Micanopy Alachua County
Florida bounded East by Public Square North by a Street running East West by lands of
R.E. Johnston and J.H. Cosby and South by Lot of George B. Payne containing one half of
an acre more or less: Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and all the estate
right, title, interest, property and possession, claim and demand whatsoever as well in
law as in equity of the said party of the first part of in and to the same and every
part and parcel thereof: To Have and To Hold the above granted and described
premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns, to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever. And
Lastly the said party of the first part and his heirs executors and administrators
the above granted and described premises unto the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns against himself and his heirs executors and administrators
shall and will Warrant and forever Defend. In Witness Whereof the said party

Chatham County   } Be it remembered that on this first day of February in the Year
of our Lord Eighteen hundred and seventy eight before me the undersigned John W.
Burroughs a Commissioner resident in the City of Savannah duly commissioned and
qualified by the executive authority and under the laws of the State of Florida to take
the acknowledgement and proof of deeds et cetra to be used or recorded therein,
personally appeared Robert G. Erwin attorney in fact of Robert Erwin who is personally
known to me to be the person whose name as such attorney in fact is subscribed to
the the instrument of writing hereto attached as on the part of Robert Erwin his
said principal having executed the same and acknowledged to me that he had
as such attorney in fact for and on behalf of his said principal executed the
same for the uses and purposes therein expressed. In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed my official seal this first day of February
