Horace P. Langley to Jacob M. Endel
"Deed"
State of New Hampshire } Know all men by these Presents That I Horace P.
County }Langley Bachelor of the aforesaid County and State
for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Five Hundred dollars to him in
hand paid by Jacob M. Endel of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto him the
said Jacob M. Endel all of that certain lot, piece tract or parcel of land
Situated lying and being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly
known and described as follows to wit: The South half (1/2) of the Lot Conveyed by Mrs.
Hattie L. Sanchez to Mrs Ida E. Burnett said deed recorded in Book K of records
of Alachua County Fla folio 207 & 208 & 209 having formerly been conveyed by J.W.
Coburn to Mrs H.L. Sanchez as per Boof of Deeds of said County "J" page 102 and
known as the South half of Block Two (2) in the Town of Gainesville bounded
on the West by the Street running direct to the Depot; on the South by the
Street running East and West: on the East by the Street running North and South;
on the North by the line dividing the land of Tillman Ingram from the Town of
Gainesville = Said one half Block being one hundred feet North & South and 200 feet
East & West containing by estimation _____ acres of land more or less. Together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining. To Have and Hold the
same unto him the said Jacob M. Endel and to his heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns in fee Simple and absolute, and I the said Horace
P. Langley do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Jacob M. Endel
that I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed
and that I have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the
same is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that I will
and my heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant
and defend the same unto him the said Jacob M. Endel and to his heirs
executors administrators and assigns against the lawful claims and
demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim
the same In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
my seal on this 4th day of October AD 1881
