              John Grimes to Jacob Hodge
                          "Deed"
Know all men by these presents that I John Grimes in Consideration
of the sum Twenty five (25) Dollars to me in hand paid by Jacob Hodge of
Alachua County Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have
bargained sold and quit Claimed and by these presents do bargain Sell and
quit claim unto the said Jacob Hodge and to heirs and assigns forever all
my right title interest estate claim and demand both at law and in equity
and as well in possession as in expentancy of in and to all that certain
farm of piece of land Situated and being in Alachua County Florida
and better known as the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 Sec 4 T10 R17 Forty acres
with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto
belonging. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this 24th day of October AD 1881

acknowledged that he signed the foregoing Deed for the purposes therein

      Elizabeth J. and Russell B. Smith to James L. Townsend
                              "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these that we Elizabeth Jane Smith
Alachua County   } and Russell B. Smith her husband of Alachua
County and State of Florida for and in consideration of the sum of two
hundred dollars to us in hand paid by the said James L. Townsend of
Alachua County and State of Florida the Receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said James L. Townsend
his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever the following
described Lands or Parcels of Land Lying and being in Alachua County
and State of Florida to wit the North West quarter of Section 16)
Township 10) South of Range 22) containing 160 Acres more or less
to have and to hold the above granted bargained and described Premises
together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances belonging to the same or in anywise appertaining to
the said James L. Townsend his heirs executors administrators and
assigns in fee simple absolute forever and the said Elizabeth
Jane Smith and her husband Russell B. Smith for themselves their
heirs Executors administrators and assigns do covenant and agree
to and with the said James L. Townsend that they and their
