"Deed"
This Indenture made and entered into this 13th day of October AD 1881
between Mrs Nettie W. McCall and Robt C. McCall her husband
(who Joins in this deed for the purpose of ratifying and confirming the
act of his said wife) residents of Alachua County in the State of Florida
but temporarily in the City of Savannah in the State of Georgia
of the first part and Mrs Susan A. Bauknight the wife of James P.
Bauknight of Marion County Florida of the second part witnesseth:-
That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the
of the sum of Eight Hundred ($80000) Dollars to them in hand paid
by the said party of the second part at and before the ensealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said party of the second part all that
certain lot tract piece or parcel of land lying and being situate
in the town of Gainesville County of Alachua and State of Florida
described as being formerly a part of the lot upon which James
B. Dawkins and his wife Carrie T. Dawkins reside - and more
particularly designated as follows to wit - beginning at a point on the
Eastern boundary line of the original J.B. Dawkins lot Ninety (90)
feet north of the South East corner of the said original lot of J.B.
Dawkins and running thence due North Ninety (90) feet to a Stake, thence
due West one hundred and twenty one (121) feet, thence due South Ninety
(90) feet, thence due East One hundred and Twenty one (121) feet to the
place of beginning containing one fourth (1/4) of an acre more or less the said
lot being the same which was conveyed by C.V. Waugh and Fannie M.
Waugh his wife to the said Mrs Nettie W. McCall by deed dated
March 29th AD 1881 and recorded May 24th AD 1881 in Deed Book "M"
pages 434-435 & 436 of the public Records of Alachua County Florida
