                             Deed
State of Florida } This Indenture made the 19th day of November in the year
Alachua County   } one thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty one between
Hampton Roundtree of the State and County aforesaid (his wife being
non compus mentus) of the first part and Samuel A. Thomas of the
Same State & County of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of
the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred and
Sixty Dollars lawful money of the United States to him duly paid
before the delivery hereof, hath bargained and sold and by these
presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida, and
which is known and described as follows: The North West quarter of the
North West quarter of section three (3) Township Eleven (11) South
