John C. Doolittle to J.M. Green
                    "Deed"
     State of Florida }
     Alachua County   } Know all Men by these presents that
                      I John C. Doolittle Party of the first
part of the aforesaid County and State for and in Consider
ation of the Sum of One Hundred and Twenty five Dollars
to Me in hand paid by J.M. Green party of the Second
part of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
the receipt Whereof I do hereby Acknowledge have
granted bargained Sold and Conveyed and by these presents do
grant bargain Sell and Convey unto him the said J.M.
Green party of the second part all of that Certain lot
lot peice tract or parcel of land Situated lying and being
in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly
Known and described as follows to wit The E1/2 of the North
1/2 of lot No 23 which is East half of North west quarter
of South west 1/4 Sec 12 T9 S R20 East Containing
by Estimation five Acres of land More or less Togather
with all and Singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the Same belonging or in Anywise appertaining.
To Have and To hold the Same unto him the said J.M. Green
party of the Second part and to his heirs Executors ad-
ministrators and assigns in fee Simple and Absolute and I the
said John C. Doolittle party of the first part do
hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said J.M. Green
party of the second part that I am lawfully Seized
in fee of the Same of all encumbrances of any Kind what
Soever and that I will and My heirs executors and administra-
tors Shall and will forever warrant and defend the Same unto
him the said J.M. Green party of the Second part and to
his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns against the
lawful Claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever
Now claiming or hereafter to Claim the Same
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set My hand and affixed
My seal on this 21st day of December AD 1881
