   George K. and Eliza Broome to Mrs Josie Kibby
                            "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents That I George K. Broome of the
County of Alachua} Town of Gainesville State and County aforesaid together with my
Wife Eliza Broome for and in consideration of the sum of Nine Hundred Dollars
to us in hand paid at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents do bargain sell convey and confirm unto Mrs Josie
Kibby of Palmyra Marion County State of Missouri all that Certain Lot or
parcel of Land Situated in the Town of Gainesville County of Alachua and
State of Florida more particularly known and described as follows to wit:
Commencing at a Stake Twenty Three and a half chains east from the half
mile stake of the Western Boundary line of Section Five (5) each chain containing
Sixty Six (66) feet. Thence running along the Western Boundary of the Lot now owned
by Witte Brothers of Charleston South Carolina, Four Hundred and Twenty Feet (420)
Thence West Tour Hundred and Twenty (420) Feet Thence North Four Hundred and
Twenty (420) Feet Thence East Along the Public Road Four Hundred and Twenty (420) Feet
to the point of beginning Containing Four (4) acres more or less To Have and to
hold all and singular the Tenements Hereditaments and Appurtenances
thereunto belonging to her the said Mrs Josie Kibby her heirs or assigns forever
in Fee simple. And I the said George K. Broome for myself and for my heirs
and assigns will forever warrent and defend the said Mrs Josie Kibby against
the lawful claim of any and all persons, In Witness Whereof we do
hereunto set our hands and affix our seals this Fourth Day of January
AD 1882

State of Florida }  Know all men by these presents that I Eliza Broome
County of Alachua}  wife of George K. Broome who executed the foregoing Deed
for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid the
receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby waive and relinquish to
Mrs. Josie Kibby forever all my Dower and right of Dower of in and to the
premises descried and set forth in the foregoing Deed  Witness my hand and
seal this Fourth day of January A.D. 1882

County of Alachua } Before the Subscriber personally came Mrs Eliza Broome
wife of George K. Broome who being by me examined Separate and apart
from her said husband acknowledged in my presence that She
executed the foregoing relinquishment and renunciation of Dower
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint apprehension
or fear of or from her said Husband
              Taken and acknowledged before me this }   Eliza Broome
              4th day of January AD 1882            }
