State of Florida } on this day personally appeared before me Joseph S. Mc
Alachua County } Donell an acting Justice of the Peace James Brown to me well
known as the person described in and who executed the within Deed of convey=
ance and acknowledged that he executed the same for the purpose therein contained
and Isabella Brown wife of the said James Brown also appeared before me
and acknowledged that she signed the within instrument without any compulsion
or fear from her Husband and that she does hereby relinquish her dower and the
benefit of the Homestead law of the State of Florida Whereupon it it is prayed
that the same may be recorded. Witness my hand and seal this the 6th day of
January AD 1882

George H. Sutherland & Wife To Mary A. Burke
"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we G.H. Sutherland &
Alachua County } Maria Sutherland His wife of the aforesaid County and State for and
in consideration of the sum of one Hundred and Sixty dollars to them in hand paid by
Mary A. Burke of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof
we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto Her the said Mary A. Burke all
of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land Situated lying and being in the
County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known and described as follows
to wit: being a part of Sec (22) Township Ten (10) and Beginning at the
South East corner of a lot of thirty acres previously conveyed by G.H. Sutherland
and running E Seven chains to a Stake Thence N nine and a quarter chains to
a Stake thence Seven chains to a Stake Thence South nine and a quarter
chains to point of begining containing by estimation Six & half acres of land
more or less. Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining. To Have and Hold
the same unto Her, the said Mary A. Burke and to her heirs, executors administrators
and assigns in fee simple and absolute and we the said G.H. Sutherland and
Mariah Sutherland his wife do hereby covenant and agree to and with the Said
Mary A. Burke that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and
hereby conveyed, and that we have good and lawful right to sell and convey the
same, that the same is free from all encumbrances of any Kind whatsoever and
that we have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that
the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that we
will and our heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant
and defend the same unto her the said Mary A. Burke and to Her heirs
