L.H. Goodwin a Notary Public personally appeared Benj H. Micou
and M.I.C. Micou his wife to me known to be the persons described
in and who executed the foregoing instrument and severally acknowledged
the execution thereof to be their free act and deed for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned and the said Mrs M.I.C. Micou the wife of
the said Benj H. Micou on an examination taken and made separately and
apart from her said husband did acknowledge that she made herself a party
to the said deed for the purpose of renouncing and relinquishing her dower
or right of dower and all other right and title whatsoever in and to the lands tenements
and hereditaments therein described and thereby granted and released and that
this deed and relinquishment or renunciation of dower is made by her freely and
voluntarily and without any constraint apprehension compulsion or fear of
of from her said husband Witness my hand and official seal the date
aforesaid.

            Samuel Thomas and Wife to A.N. Adams
                                 "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we Samuel Thomas
Alachua County   } and wife Sarah Thomas both of said County and State for
and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred Dollars to us in hand paid by
A.N. Adams of said State and County the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged do hereby grant bargain sell and convey unto the said A.N.
Adams her heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land with the 
buildings thereon and all the appurtenances to the same belonging
situated in said County & State bounded & described as follows to wit: The SW1/4
of SW1/4 of S 23 T9 S of R21 East containing 40 acres to have and to hold
the above granted premises to the said A.N. Adams her heirs and assigns
to her's and their use & behoof forever and we the said Samuel Thomas
& Sarah Thomas his wife for ourselves our heirs executors & Administrators
do covenant with the said A.N. Adams her heirs and assigns that we
are lawfully seized in fee simple of the above granted premises that they 
are free from all encumbrances that we have a good right to sell and
convey the same to the said A.N. Adams her heirs and assigns forever
as aforesaid and that we will and our heirs executors & Administrators
shall warrant and defend the same to the said A.N. Adams her heirs and
assigns forever against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever. In Witness
whereof I the same Saml Thomas and I the said Sarah Thomas in Token
of my release (for the considerations above) of all my right title interest & claim
in and to dower in the above granted premises have hereunto set our
hands & seals this the 5th day of October AD 1881
