State of Florida } Before the Subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and
Alachua County   } for said county personally came Samuel Thomas & wife
Sarah Thomas the bargainers with whom I am personally acquainted and
who acknowledged that they executed the foregoing deed for the purposes 
therein expressed and the said Sarah Thomas wife of said Saml. Thomas
separate and apart from her said husband and acknowledged that
she executed the same freely voluntarily and without any compulsion
or constraint from her said husband the said Saml. Thomas

State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into on this the Ninth
Alachua County   } day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and Eighty one (1881) Between Mrs S.M. Darden of the Town of Archer
County of Alachua and State of Florida party of the first part and
Mrs H.A. Blitch of the same twon County and State party of the second
part witnesseth: That the said party of the first part for and in consid-
eration of the sum of Thirty Dollars $30.00 lawful money of the United
States of America to her in hand paid by the said party of the second
part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted aliened bargained
sold transferred conveyed and confirmed and do by these presents give
grant alien bargain sell transfered conveyed and confirmed and
do by these presents give grant bargain sell transfer remise release
convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and
her heirs administrators and assigns forever all that certain parcel
or tract of land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and described as follows commencing at the Archer
and Newnansville road where the lot fence of the party of the
first part now Stands Joined Martha S. Dardens fence it being the
starting point running square off from the Archer road South West
to the North and South line of the lot of the party of the first part
then up to the North west corner then from there on the East and
West line back to the Archer road then down the Archer road to
the corner where starting from this being a quarter of an acre more
or less in the North West corner of the land of the party of the first
part which is the North East quarter of the North East quarter of the
North East quarter of the South East quarter ~ NE1/4 of the NE1/4 of the NW1/4
of the SE1/4 of Section number Seventeen (No 17) in Township Eleven (T11) South
of Range Eighteen (18) East containing 2 1/2 acres more or less. To have and
to hold the within granted bargained and described premises together
