          Carlos W. Blackman to Sumner H. Paine
                          "Deed"
To All Persons to whom these Presents shall Come - Greeting
Know Ye That I Carlos W. Blackman of the town City and County of New
Haven and State of Connecticut, For and in consideration of Five Hundred
dollars received to my full Satisfaction of Sumner H. Paine of the town City and
County of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin do give grant bargain sell and
confirm unto the said Sumner H. Paine all that certain tract of land with all
the improvements thereon situated in the County of Alachua State of Florida
described as follows the west half of the South west quarter of the North East
quarter of Section twelve Township nine Range twenty east of the principal
meridian as shown on plan of said Section divided into twenty acre lots
and marked lot thirteen containing twenty acres more or less (W 1/2 of SW 1/4
of NE 1/4 Sec 12 Town 9 Range 20 E being lot 13 of Sect 12) Being the same property
deeded to me by Mary E. and Charles D. Furman of Alachua County State of
Deed dated January twenty seventh eighteen hundred and Seventy nine
To Have and to Hold the above granted and bargained premises with the
appurtenances thereof unto him the said grantee his heirs and assigns
forever to his and their proper use and behoof And also I the said grantor
Carlos W. Blackman do for myself my heirs executors and administrators
covenant with the said Grantee Sumner H. Paine his heirs and assigns that
at and until the ensealing of these presents I am well seized of the premises as
a good and indefeasible estate in Fee simple: and have good right to bargain
and sell the same in manner and form as is above written and that the
same is free from all incumbrances whatsoever. And Furthermore I the said
Grantor Carlos H. Blackman do by these presents bind myself and my heirs
forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises
to him the said grantee Sumner H. Pain his heirs and assigns against all
claims and demands whatsoever. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and seal this 17th day of November AD 1881
