authorized by the executive authority of Florida under the laws of said State
to take within the State of Connecticut proof and acknowledgment of deeds etc to be
used and recorded in said State Carlos W. Blackman to me well known to
be the person who executed the foregoing deed by him sealed and subscribed
and the said Carlos W. Blackman acknowledged the execution thereof to be his
free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my official seal the day 
and year first above written

New Haven County     } Know all men by these presents that I Maria Blackman
wife of Carlos W. Blackman Grantor in the foregoing deed conveying Real
estate for and in consideration of the premises in said deed mentioned and
for one dollar to me in hand paid by Sumner H. Paine grantee in said
deed mentioned the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have remised released
relinquished renounced and by these presents do renounce release relinquish
renounce and forever quit claim unto the said Paine all my dower and right
of dower in and to the lands in the foregoing deed mentioned and conveyed
to have and to hold the same unto the said Paine his heirs and assigns
forever and I do hereby acknowledge that I do the same freely voluntarily
without compulsion constraint or fear of husband In Witness Whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this 26th day of November AD 1881

New Haven County     } Be it remembered that on this 26th day of November AD 1881
personally came before me a Commissioner of Deeds for Florida Mrs Maria
Blackman wife of Carlos W. Blackman who upon an examination by me held
separate and apart from her husband acknowledged that she did make
sign and seal the foregoing renunciation relinquishment and acknowl-
edgment freely voluntarily and without compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear from her said husband witness my hand
and seal this 26th day of November AD 1881
