the uses and purposes therein set forth and the said Kattie
Livingston wife of the said John S. Livingston having been by me examined
separate and apart and out of the hearing of her husband and the contents
and meaning of the said instrument of writing been by me fully made
known and explained to her and she also by me having been fully
informed of her rights under the homestead laws of this state acknowledged
that she freely executed the same and relinquished her dower to
the lands and tenements therein mentioned and also all her right
and advantages under and by virtue of any and all laws of this state
relating to the Exemption of homestead without compulsion of her said
husband and that she does not wish to retract the same

"Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made this 21st day of December AD 1882
Alachua County } between William J. Waits of said State and
County and his wife Josephine Waits of the County of Alachua State
of Florida of the second part: Witnesseth that for and in consideration of
the sum of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars to the parties of the first
part paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns in fee simple all of that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being in said State and County and described as follows
to wit: The North East Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section
Twenty nine and the North West Quarter of the North West Quarter of
section Twenty Eight also a Small fraction a part of the North West
Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section Twenty Nine according
to a line established by the parties trading all in township Ten
South Range Twenty Two East said fraction being bounded
on the North by land of Frank Williams and on the West by
land of R.C. Aultman containing Eight acres more or less
to have and to Hold the above described land to the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns together with the rights
members and appurtenances thereunto being belonging or in any
manner appertaining. And the said parties of the first part for
themselves their heirs executors administrators and assigns the
title to the above bargained sold and conveyed premises will forever
warrant and defend against all legal claims and demands
In Testimony Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals
