Robert J. Camp et al to Madora Jolly
Deed
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we Robt J. Camp
Alachua County } John S. Camp Benjamin F. Camp and his wife Annie S. Camp
of the aforesaid County and State for and in consideration of the sum of
Twenty dollars to us in hand paid by Madora Jolly of the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have
granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said Madora Jolly all of that certain lot piece
tract or parcel of land Situated lying and being in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida particularly known and described as follows to wit
Lot No (2) two in Block No (2) two located in Campville containing one
acre more or less (The said Madora Jolly binds herself and her heirs executors
administrators or assigns not to keep or allow any person or persons to keep
for sale intoxicating liquors of any kind on said lot. If the said
Madora Jolly fail to comply with this obligation renders this deed null
and void and the said lot shall revert back to the said parties of the
first part or their heirs) Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise
appertaining To Have and Hold the same unto the said Madora Jolly
and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple
and absolute and we the said Robt J. Camp, John S. Camp Benjamin
F. Camp and his wife Annie S. Camp do hereby covenant and agree to
and with the said Madora Jolly that they are lawfully seized in
fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all
encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that they will and their
heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and
defend the same unto the said Madora Jolly and to her heirs executors
administrators and assigns against the lawful claims and demands
of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the
same. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
affixed our seals on this 23 day of November AD 1881

Alachua County } I hereby certify that on this 23 day of
November AD 1881 before me personally appeared Mrs. Annie S.
Camp wife of Benjamin F. Camp the grantor in the foregoing
conveyance who being first duly questioned and examined by me
separate and apart from her said husband says and acknowledges
before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the
purpose of releasing relinquishing and announcing all of her right
of Dower in and to the land in said deed described and that said
relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was done and made by
her freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint |
