Thomas Gibbons Taylor and others to Theodore Bailey Myers
"Deed"
This Indenture made the twenty ninth day of December in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty one Between Thomas
Gibbons Taylor and Sarah J. his wife of the City of San Francisco State of
Calafornia William Henry Taylor and Martha J. his wife of the
City of New York State of New York Louis Taylor Ewen of the City
of San Francisco State aforesaid being the only surviving child and heir
at law of Mary C. Taylor deceased and William Ogilvie Ewen of the City
of New York State aforesaid the said Thomas Gibbons Taylor and
Louis Taylor Ewen together with William H. Taylor hereinafter named
being the only survivors or the sole representatives of the deceased of Mary C
Taylor William H. Taylor Thomas G. Taylor and Emma E. Taylor children
and heirs at law of William Taylor deceased (The parties named in and
who under the provisions of a decretal order of the Circuit Court of
the Eastern Judicial District of the State of Florida in the case of Brush &
others against Prall & others made on the thirteenth day of November 1848
for the partition of certain property in Florida for which said was
instituted became the purchasers & owners at a Sale of the same at the
Town of Micanopy in the County of Alachua in said State of
Florida made on the twenty first day of February 1849 under the direction
of the commissioners name in said decree as will more fully appear on the
Records of said Court) parties of the first part and Theodore Bailey
Myers of the City of New York State aforesaid party of the second
part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Three thousand dollars lawful money of the
United States of America to them in hand paid by the said party of
the second part at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents |
