J. Waits and Josephine Waits his wife and acknowledged that they
executed the foregoing deed for the purpose of convey the and therein
described to Samuel F. Waits and the said Josephine Waits upon an exami=
nation made by me separate and apart from her husband acknowledges
that she made herself a party to said conveyance for the purpose
of relinquishing all dower and right of Dower in the lands therein
mentioned and that she did so freely and voluntarily and without any
fear constraint or compulsion from her said husband

Deed
This Indenture made and entered into on this 12th day
of December AD 1882 by and between Joseph B. Wistar and his
wife Annie A. Wistar of the City of Gainesville in Alachua County
State of Florida parties of the first part and John Charles Ryder
of the City of Boston State of Massachusetts party of the second part
Witnesseth: That the said parties of the first part for and in consider=
ation of the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15000.00) to them cash
in hand paid by the party of the second part at and before
the ensealing and delivery of whereof the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and
do by these presents grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto
the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns
forever all that certain Lot tract piece or parcel of land situate
lying and being in the State of Florida County of Alachua and
Town of Gainesville and particularly described on the map of
said Town as Block Number Two (2) in Range number Four (4)
and Generally known as the "Arlington House" property Together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appur
tenancies thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and all
the Estate right title interest property possession claim and demand
whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said parties of the
first part of in and to the above described premises and every part
