party to a certain deed bearing date on the Twenty
second day of June AD 1882 and there to annexer
personally appeared before me in the County
aforesaid the said John Pettibone, being personally
well known to me to be the person who executed the
said Deed. And acknowledged the same to be
his act and Deed. Given under my hand and

This Indenture made this Twenty first day of December
in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
Eighty two. By and between Louisa C. Burge Executrix
under the last will and testiment of Wiley G. Burge
deceased late of Charleston South Carolina of Charleston
South Carolina of the first part and Charles A. McEwen
of Washington District of Columbia of the second part
Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and
in Consideration of the sum of Seven hundred & fifty Dollars
In lawful money of the United States to her in hand paid
by the said party of the second part at and before
the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt where
of is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained
sold aliened enfeoffed released and Conveyed and does
by these presents grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and
Convey unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
for ever. All of those several tracts or parcels of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua State of Florida
and more particular Known and described on the maps
& public surveys of said State as Lots One (1) Two (2)
Three (3) Four (4) Five (5) and Eight (8) of section twenty seven 27.
Township Eleven (11) south Range Eighteen (18) East all of section
nineteen (19) in Township Eleven (11) south Range Eighteen East
also Lots One (1) Two (2) Three (3) and Four (4) in section Three
(3) Township nine (9) south Range Twenty 20 East, also west
half of section Twenty seven (27) Township nine south of
Range seventeen (17) East. The said several tracts or parcels
of Land Containing Fourteen hundred & sixty four and forty
Nine One hundredths 1464 49/100 Acres more or less.
