appointed and authorized by the executive authority of
Florida under the laws of said State to take within
the state of Georgia proof and acknowledgement of deeds,
e.t.c. to be used and recorded in said State of Florida
Emanuel S. Heidt to me well known to be the person
who executed the within deed by him sealed and sub-
scribed and the said Emanuel Heidt acknowledged
the execution thereof to be his free act and deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In witness where-
of I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my off-
icial seal at Savannah in the county of Chatham
and State of Georgia this fourteenth day of Decem-

This Indenture made the 3rd day of Feby in the Year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and eighty three Between E.D. Barnett & wife
Alvania A. Barnett Wm M. Knox and wife Mattie F. Knox of the first
part and John D. Martin Witnesseth that the said party of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred
and Eighty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or
before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby conveyed and confirmed and by these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien remise release
