his wife and Archelaus V. Stewart and Catharine Stewart his wife
either in law of Equity of in and to the said premises Together with all the
privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging and all the rents
issues and profits thereof To Have and to hold the same to the only
proper use of the said Jennie B. Merchant her heirs and assigns forever
And the said Charles A. Miller and Archelaus V. Stewart for themselves
and for their heirs executors and administrators do hereby covenant with
the said Jennie B. Merchant her heirs and assigns that they are
the true and lawful owners of the said premises and have full power to
convey the same that the title so conveyed is clear free and unincumbered
and further that they will warrant and defend the same against all
claim or claims of all persons whomsoever In Witness Whereof the said
Charles A. Miller and Archelaus V. Stewart and Matilda O. Miller wife of
the said Charles A. Miller and Catharine H. Stewart wife of the said
Archelaus V. Stewart who hereby release their right and expectancy of
Dower in the said premises have hereunto set their hands and seals this 1st
day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and

Be it Remembered that on this 1st day of February in the year of
our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and eighty three before me the
subscriber a Notary Public in and for said county personally came
Charles A. Miller and Matilda O. Miller his wife and Archelaus V. Stewart and
Catharine H. Stewart his wife the grantors in the foregoing deed and acknowledged
the signing and sealing thereof to be their voluntary act and deed for the
uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Matilda O. Miller and
Catharine Stewart wives of the said Charles A. Miller and Archelaus V.
Stewart being examined by me separate and apart from their said
husbands and the contents of said deed being by me made known an
explained to them as the Statute directs declared that they did voluntarily
sign seal and acknowledge the same and that they are Still Satisfied
then with as their act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned
